BJJ Chess is a free, turn-based browser game for learning positional strategy in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Recognize the current position, choose a legal technique, and anticipate the opponent’s response. Blue represents you; black represents your opponent.
Start standing or practice closed guard, open guard, half guard, side control, mount, back control, turtle, and front headlock. Open guard includes supine, seated, butterfly, and headquarters configurations, with distinct leg-drag, double-under, and body-lock passing positions. Choose Supine Open Guard on top to practice the Toreando pass.
No account or installation is required. The game runs locally in your browser; refreshing the page starts a new session.
Educational strategy tool—not a substitute for qualified instruction. Simplified rules and generated position illustrations may omit technical details; do not use them as step-by-step physical training instructions.
